The tree is in robust health, full of green glossy leaves and new growth with increasing ramification. New shots and developments on the main trunk and large branches establish a wonderful opportunity for further design enhancements. The tree has mature bark and a few remarkable features making trunk interesting and unique indoor bonsai.

Height 45 cm with pot, pot length is 25 cm, trunk at the bottom is 4 cm.

Light Requirements: Polyscias Fabian thrives in bright, indirect light. Place your plant near a window with filtered sunlight, where it can receive several hours of gentle morning or afternoon sun. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves. If your plant leans towards the light, rotate it regularly to ensure even growth.

Temperature and Humidity: Maintain a moderate room temperature between 18°C and 24°C for your Polyscias Fabian. This plant appreciates average to slightly higher humidity levels. You can increase humidity by placing a water tray near the plant or using a humidifier. Avoid placing it near draughts or cold air-conditioning vents.

Watering: Water your Polyscias Fabian moderately, allowing the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. It's important to avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot. Stick your finger into the soil to check its moisture level, and water only when it feels slightly dry. Adjust the watering frequency based on the season and environmental conditions.

Soil and Potting: Polyscias Fabian prefers well-draining soil. Use a high-quality, well-aerated potting mix that retains moisture without becoming waterlogged. Adding perlite or coarse sand to the soil mix can improve drainage. Repot your plant every two years or when it outgrows its current container.

Fertilising: Feed your Polyscias Fabian with a balanced, water-soluble fertiliser diluted to half the recommended strength. Apply the fertiliser every two months during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce fertilisation in the winter when the plant's growth slows down. Follow the instructions on the fertiliser packaging for proper dilution and application.

Pruning: Prune your Polyscias Fabian to maintain its desired shape and promote bushier growth. Remove any leggy or overgrown branches using clean, sharp pruning shears. You can also pinch back the tips to encourage branching and denser foliage. Pruning is best done in the spring or early summer.

Repotting: Repot every three years in the spring and the next sized pot with adequate drainage. Hydrate the plant 24hrs before tinkering with the roots to prevent the risk of transplant shock. For those that are situated in a darker location, add a thin layer of small grit in the pot's base to improve drainage and downplay over-watering.
